Never again a black car, though it is gorgeous in black, for sure.

I feel like F8 is retro, Octane is (as mentioned) classy, and Reactor looks sleeper-ish. But if B5 was still around, it'd be no contest!
I actually asked Tim K about getting a special order B5 Hellcat and was kindly told no... 😩

@ReactorFactor What's the story with the 392 badge?

Octane red is pretty, but if I went that way, I'd have to go with the black package and alcantara seats same as with F8 unless you decide you can be in a Christmas mood all year. You can count me in with those who wish they offered up some of the more wild colors across the SRT line rather than just limited to regular Durango colors.

Just a rebadge add-on tried to match the sterling as close as possible...its a little lite tho...but pretty close! did the same for the 4-all wheel on the tailgate too!

I was excited about and going to go with F8 until I saw it on a Durango. Looks great on cars but odd on the D, in my opinion. Then it was either Octane or Reactor Blue. Saw the RB in person...if the light isn’t hitting it just right it looks unremarkable. The Octane looks good on the cars, and looks great on the D (my opinion). I’ve seen pics on here (like the one above) where the RB look great and it gets me thinking maybe I should have gone with it instead of the Octane, but then I look out my window and think it’s ok...you made the right choice.

I agree with you on the F8. I wanted it bad because I saw it on the cars. Luckily I was able to see one on a DDSRT right before I placed the order and it didn't do it for me. I went with the RB and love it. Like you said when the light is right is nice, but in the shade it definitely is bland.

Here's mine fresh outa getting a full Xpel wrap.

I was just outside shoveling snow looking at my Octane D and noticing how dark it looked in the shade and how bland. I was then thinking that Dodge must know what they’re doing because on both the Octane and RB they look otherwise blah in the shade but when the light hits them WHAM!! Beautiful.
I first saw the F8 on a Charger Scat Pack in 2018 and thought “wow. If they put that color on the Duran THATs what I’m gonna get. Then they offered it in 2019 and I was all ready to put my order in when the tax man came knocking and the down payment money I had been saving went towards taxes. Then I saw one and thought God intervened because I did NOT like it when I saw it. I have since seen it with black racing stripes and it looks better, but there are still at least 2 better options out there. I did not want white, black, silver or bright red.
Your RB D looks beautiful (in the light). :-D

There aren't too many colors that will sparkle in the shade. I've been an Octane Red fan for a while now. I wouldn't call it bland in the shade. In a world dominated by black, white and 7 shades of gray, it still stands out.
RB is nice but I wish it had more of a metallic finish. I owned back to back Maximum Steel Durangos and that color, to me, looked better than RB.
If they offered a purple similar to what BMW has come out with, I would be all over it. I'll post a pic of that when I find it again.

Well, ok, maybe not “bland, but not like it looks in the sun.
