New to me SRT - 1st Post

I love the octane red. Tried to get the wife to like it also but she wanted Laguna red leather seats and said that they clashed.

I live in Florida so obviously no experience with snow. After the Pirelli run-flats got used up at 10,000 miles I put on a set of Hankook Ventus St and only got 12,000 miles out of those. I now have Yokohama Parada Spec-X for 15,000 miles, they are wearing well, couldn't be happier.

I went the cheap route and ripped out the muffler suitcase and installed 2 MagnaFlow magnapack resonators for a total of about $300 installed. The sound is great and there is no drone at highway speeds.

I got rid of the Dust monster brake pads and installed power stop Z23 on the front and Z26s on the back. Probably the best thing I ever did!

LOL, I didn't even realize that they weren't offered with the octane red. We didn't even get that far because we knew off the bat they weren't going to look good together. Nice to know that Dodge protects people from themselves

Funny, after I posted that I went on the Dodge site and it allowed me to build an Octane Red with the Laguna seats. So maybe they switched color coordinators...lol
But I remember back then building one and the choices of colors available with them were only a few. If I couldn't get the Octane Red I would've gone with White and Red seats.

Mine just got the H valve replaced and then refilled. Hope there isn't a leak!
