What are all the things that pushing the Sport button on the center stack do? I would think tighten suspension and change shift points in the transmission. Does anyone know all the things it does?

SRTs are the only Dodge that have active suspension that I know of. As others said, it is for the Steering and shift points. I hear some of the Charger/Challengers have active exhaust either moving baffles or somthing.

What does the eco mode do?
Nothing worth having! LOL Seriously though, its short for Economy or (Every Car Overtaking me), it slows throttle response and shift points to save the world from extinction.

2016 RTs have Sport as well...

It's modifies:
Up shift points (holds on to current gear much longer, even if you are soft on the pedal it holds to at least 2500-3k for most shifts)

Down shift points (down shifts more aggressively with braking usually keeping you at 3-4K rpm) which actually helps with breaking and coming out more aggressively of corners...in a 5200lb truck, lol

Shift firmness (noticeably firmer shifts - and the only way mine with shift effectively at WOT with a super charger). In normal mode and 505WHP it won't shift reliably at WOT, unless I'm in sport mode.

Turns on green "finish line" flag on dash cluster and associated animation.

Disables Eco mode and MDS and almost entirely prevents 8th gear unless you've been at steady rpm/highway speed for a few minutes.

Eco mode is the anti sport mode. Eco softens shifts and favors shifting to higher gears ASAP (lower rpms) and enables MDS to kick-in in gears other than 8th which is Ok for mileage, bad for smiles...coming out of MDS takes a second or two if you need to get on the power, which can be annoying if you're not a passive personality.

No suspension changes are made or are possible. No active suspension in the DD's yet.

I turned Eco off because I didn't care for how the truck drives with it on. It still gets 25.5 MPG on road trips hand calculated so I don't see much of a point to it.

The suspension can't be changed-AFAIK the GT uses conventional shocks

A GT is just the new name for the Limited, it also has the R/T ground effects are such. Same drivetrain and suspension as the sxt.

Also all 2016+ Durangos have sport reguardless of trim last I knew.

I have a 2017 Durango GT and have a tow hitch on and am pulling a trailer to move this weekend. Is it better to tow in eco/sport or normal?
