GOT MY GIBSON AXLE BACK SYSTEM INSTALLED TODAY DEFINITELY SOMETHING YOU CAN NOT DO BY YOURSELF. THIS SYSTEM MIGHT BOLT RIGHT UP TO THE V8 AND RT BUT ITS DEFINITELY CHALLENGING FOR THE V6. THE RIGHT SIDE FITS PERFECTLY THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOES NOT LINE UP PROPERLY NEEDS A PIPE MODIFICATION AND A EXTRA TAC WELD TO SUPPORT THE EXHAUST FROM MOVING. HERE ARE SOME PICTURES. I GOT THE ALUMINIZED AND PREPARED IT WITH PAINT TO PROTECT LONGER.

Here is a short clip, sounds great for low speeds and idling perfect for a little extra sound. No sound in vehicle while driving at all. Will do mid muffler delete in a few weeks and installing H pipe not X.. Keeping it old school dont want weedwacker sound plus everyone tries to do what everyone else does and there is drone and sounds like sh@t. By the way gibson to me one of the best brands of exhaust systems out there and dont get the respect.

Sounds great! Any chance you could get a clip of it accelerating? Or after you finish the mods? I have a V6 and it’s been hard to find a decent setup that doesn’t sound waspy. I haven’t tried any personally but from everything I’ve seen online, many would say that the R/T exhaust provided the best note... but others were not impressed with it on the V6.

Sure I will post later, its not waspy sounds great no popping or anything when reving the engine or on high acceleration. My car is a 2015 SXT V6 with the Rallye package. It definitely is not loud if your looking for something to turn heads. I could notice a difference is HP tho.

Sounds great and thats how the tailpipes should fit from he factory. I hate how the factory tips fit , they are usually not centered and they are recessed enough to coat your bumper with black sut.

How much you paid for this Gibson exhaust?
260 + 160 to install and then a refund through Gibson of 40$ since amazon said it would fit and then it didnt on the left. The piping diameters are not the same.

Sounds Nice and you're right about Gibson. Had them on my 4.7L V8 4Runner and sounded great. Used to get compliments all the time.
It will get slightly more aggressive sounding after you put a couple of hundred miles on it.

Hey bother, did you ever get a chance to shoot a vid of it accelerating from a distance? 🙏

Any chance you could get a vid of it before you do more mods?
