Hello everyone,,
I need some help with this after I took my 2012 RT into the dealer to have the sun visor recall done on it now whenever I open a door the rear wiper starts going and doesn't work other than that. the dealer wants to charge me $136 an HR to look at it and see if its there fault or not. Has anybody else had this issue with there Durango after the recall was fixed. Never had any problems with it till after I took it to the dealer..showbox.bio/ tutuapp.uno/ https://vidmate.vet/

If it were me, and I’m expected to pay for the repair anyway, I’d go to an independent mechanic, who can be trusted, ask them to diagnose the issue and document the exploration process, saving the old parts, with photo evidence and perhaps a printout of the fault codes if they can be traced.

If you bring the vehicle to the same place that you suspect may have created this defect, they are likely to repair it, while charging you in full for the repairs, but also to erase the evidence trail, and claim it could not have been created by, or even related to their other repairs done previously, leaving you with no compensatory leg to stand on.

An independent mechanic’s report on record of verifiable fault analysis pointing to the previous repairs may give you a shot at getting a reimbursement for the cost of legitimate repair.

But, on the other hand, it may be just a coincidence, and they may in fact NOT have created the defect causing the unusual behavior of your wipers, in which case you’ve simply paid fairly for a legitimate repair.

It's an extra "Feature" ! Enter/Exit vehicle and rear hatch glass gets cleaned

Kidding aside...did you notice this immediately after the "Sun Visor recall"? What did the recall involve?
