Rear Lights

Good day all!

I am new to the forum as i have only just purchased my 2015 Durango.

I noticed the other day that my rear lights do not connect all away around. There seems to be a "dull" are on either side. Is this common?I have attached a picture.

Please advise.

This is a well documented problem. This is caused by water getting into the light and burning out a section of the LED's. My 2014 suffers from the same problem but the damage is on the right hand side.There is no way to fix the damage that has already been done and to replace the light (from my understanding) is over $1000

There is a thread not too far down here on the forum that covers this. You will see it. It’s called “water in tail light” or something like that.
