Has anybody installed the TruckVault FloorVault or the Lock’er Down SUVault in their Durango?

They’re damn near the same price, so I’m just trying to find feedback.

Thanks in advance.
I stuck a cheap Bulldog Vault in the back cargo area where the extra trunk storage under the floor is back there. I screwed it into the cargo well back there and it never moved an inch. I currently don't have it installed in my newish 2018, but it worked for a single carry with a couple of extra mags very well.

I'm not familiar with what the brands your asking about, but the cargo area in the back was completely out of sight from would be thieves.

With the Police Package models (SSV & Pursuit) there is no third row option. Instead there is expanded in-floor storage, which is shown in the two attachments. TruckVault and LockerDown make full replacement inserts that create flush, secure in-floor storage. FYI, both products work with a removed third row too.

Nice! You have easily twice the amount of hidden rear storage than a normal DD has.

Depending on how they fit, I would still find a way to bolt it down in there. Mainly to keep it from sliding around, but more for some idiot that wants to try and take the vault for themselves.

They both bolt down.

From what I’ve found with my research, the TruckVault model is a fully encapsulated vault, while the LockerDown model is essentially a steel door, that has supports, that bolt down.

So they’re both good safe storage. However the TruckVault has less interior space but is technically more secure, while the LockerDown has more interior space, but is not as fortified.

That being said, I’m leaning more towards the LockerDown model, because of the overall storage space it allows.
