Well she finally did it. Nobody was hurt except my D. I kept her clean for 7 years and just dropped the insurance down to minimum so it'll all be out of my pocket. Wife got new car and I can't afford to have 3 vehicles on full insurance. When I dropped it down I told the lady that Murphy's Law would be out to get me. All the damage is to the passenger front corner.
From what I can see it looks like I'll be needing a fender, hood, grill, headlight assys, bumper, bumper bracket, lower fascia, all hardware, prep and paint, and fog lights. No frame damage I can see. No airbag deployment. Headlights are ordered and will be here Tuesday. The rest will have to wait until I get my loan approved. On a good note it looks like I'll be starting my Super Pursuit project a little early. Any cost guesstimates and ideas on how hard it's to do this feel free to tell. Thank You

Regardless of what happened to D it did its job and protected your wife (family)
You'll fix it and even fix it better than before
Glad to hear she's ok
Sad to hear D has been hurt though

Thanks?I don't think her Element :cheesy: would have held up as well?and it probably would have costed a hell of a lot more.

Snow, Glad to hear the wife is OK. Sorry 'bout the D? This super pursuit project you mention peaks my intrest. Whacha got up your sleeve?

Ouch, glad she made it thru. Karma, hmmm. Your D can be repaired!

sorry to hear about your D.wifey was ok is the main thing.I have an extra grille and its forest green but you're welcome to it.

Look on eBay for some aftermarket hoods. The shipping is more than the hood if you're not close to one of the distributors. Also, since your V8 Magnum emblem is squished, you may want to do something different than pay the crazy price for that OEM emblem.

I think there's more damage there than what you think :? My guesstimate is $4000 + not knowing labor rate in your area and if you use new or used parts. There's a lot of hidden damage there the average person doesn't notice. Get it to a GOOD bodyshop for a complete estimate. :?

Sorry to hear about your D Snowskull but good to hear nobody got hurt. You can also look at this as a opportunity to do something differrent with the D like different headlights, foglights, grill, bumper and hood. Just an idea. Any way I hope everthing goes well and that you won't find any additional damage behind the bodyparts.

I think her element would have been totalled and she may have been hurt that was a hard hit

Thanks for all the kind words?and thanks for the parts offers?but my baby will be rebuilt with all new parts?I can't skimp on her she has treated me too good. It may take awhile but I'll get it done. Oldtin I was guessing about 4 grand also. I'm a blackhawk mech and pretty handy so I think my list is pretty acurate as far as what I need.

When she's done it should be along these lines.

That's a gorgeous hood. I'm not a big aftermarket hood person, but me likey. What brand and about how much? Fiberglass, metal?

Also, what grill inserts are you getting. I like those, but I want them in flat black.
