Looking at the pictures again....you're right. Might try moving the filter farther away from the throttle bottle on the tube and reclamp. Along with loosing the air box clamp and moving the filter back into the air box. Might just be some simple adjustments.

Loosen both clamps.. Slide the air filter on the tube closer to the air box and slide the filer into the air box snug. Then tighten both clamps.

See, I can slide the filter/tube back flush to the air box without having to loosen anything. It just moves out slightly, as the others pictures depict, after I drive a bit. Again, nit terribly worried, but just wanna make sure nothing is wrong.

Took the wife out for a date night last night, on the way to the restaurant a gorgeous Chevy c10, looked like a 69, pulled up next to us, not sure what he had under the hood but it sounded nasty. Took off a couple lights together a few times and smoked him off the line as he spin all over the place.

Definitely love the awd Hemi combo in this thing. Put a big enough lead on him he couldn’t catch up both times. Missed my v8

This my 2016 rt and is going in the shop Tom for new stance and shoes just bought last week and did the mid muffler delete, tinted tail lights, k&n air intake

thibgs like that but am nervous because I’m putting Moto metal 20x9s with 18 offset on 33/12.5R20 tires with the 2.5 inch rough country lift kit. Haven’t seen much on that offset and will post on after pic Tom

Will definitely be a wide stance, can’t wait to see it!

Scratched the crap out of my rear bumper :(

I think it got caught by the garage door, but I would have thought that would have made quite a noise. Le sigh!

Where did you find the spacer online ? Can’t find one for a 2016 rt
This one says it will work... You my have to check if it has correct bolts for your intake.

Here's a thread that I see on a lot of car forums that is pretty fun to look through.

So, what did you do today? It can be anything from a fresh wash to ordering new parts!

?
Drove it through a carwash because the Dodge dealership next to my office building had someone come in and work on their parking lot to prepare it for sealcoating. Therefore, my Durango was comvered in dust and dirt.

Bought a new NAPA The Legend Premium AGM Battery BCI No. 94R 800 A Glass Mat.

Almost 7 years and the original battery was getting tired! Wanted to head off any potential issues.

$180 with discounts. Not cheap but it's AGM.

I have kept it clean as long as I have owned it (It's a 2011). I take the engine cover off and take it to the car wash for a spray off about every 2 months. Drive it home and wipe down any remaining water. I clean the cover by hand. I use assorted products on the rubber, plastic and hoses. May sound funny, but I use Kroger furniture polish (Pledge works but Kroger polish is cheaper) on tires, rubber, hoses and plastic parts. On some trim pieces I use Stoner Trim Shine... It keeps them black/dark. I also use Lucas products on some surfaces.. found what works best and quickest by trial & error. Also pictured is Kroger aerosol Glass Cleaner... works great on windows and is Much cheaper than car branded products. Best way is to just not let it get really dirty and allow no leaks. I do wipe it down with a microfiber cloth regularly.

Here is an example of my tires done with Kroger Furniture Polish (also the black wheel well trim). Just spray it on, walk off, let it dry and soak in. One good thing.. my wheels are chrome, so I use the overspray on the wheels to polish them... It works great and holds up well. You can do the same with overspray on paint. It does not sling.
