I'm proud of this one. Top middle of the picture? For those who haven't yet done so, I highly recommend this particular mod?

Any advertisements for the stealership (decals/plate frames) are usually my first mod to any vehicle.
I normally have them do it before I take posession. I actually got some grief from the Dodge dealer in 01, and respectfully explained that if they'd like to pay me an advertising fee, I'd be more than happy to keep it on. :cheesy:

Hair dryer. The heat kills the glue. Sometimes nylon fishing line can get them off, if they're thick, like the magnum labels.

If I were you, I'd leave it on if it has been on there that long. Otherwise, there'll be a ghost image of it anyway from the faded paint from sun exposure and such.

That's a great pet peeve of mine. I hate that people let the dealers get away with putting stickers and emblems on their rides. When we purchased my wife's vehicle a few years back, I told one dealer that the deal won't happen until they remove the sticker. He was offended and asked, "wouldn't you want to let people know where you purchased your vehicle from?"
I told him that if I did, I could just tell them. I also told him that this will be my vehicle and not a billboard, but if they had wanted to make some of my payments we could work out a deal for advertising.

I hate to see a nice ride. no matter what it's drive around with a dealership sticker plastered right on the paint job. That's so tacky in my book and takes away from the ride. When one of my friends or co-workers at the FD buys a new ride and is showing it off, I always ask how many payments the dealership is making for them. They ask why and I point to the sticker. They usually say that they didn't even notice it there.

When my wife did get her vehicle, we showed up and the dealer said it was in the back getting prepped. I told him that if there was a dealer sticker or emblem on the paint to please remove it. He said that they don't ruin cars with those things. That they do put a license plate frame on the back. That was fine as it promptly came off when we got home.
