Resistors get very hot. Best thing is to get a couple of aluminum strips, about 1/4" thickness, 4"-5" in length, that should be enough to dissipate the heat, and mount the resistors on the ends of those and then you can attach the other end to practically any panel under the hood. Check home depot or lowes hardware section, they usually have flat or angle stock there.
 
Boltzen AC CANBUS Series: 55w HID Kit from OPT7 site , Do we need the Relay Harness / Anti-Flicker Bundle? and when ordering, do I get the 9005? will the 9005 HID still have the low/ high beam option? and is it same for the H11 fogs?
 
Going to get the CREE XLamp XB-D LED h11 fog. And talked with opt7 last night and for the 19 sxt I will need this.
