Hey guys for those looking to get new tires I would highly suggest calling Mavis Discount Tire (914-984-2500) and ask for Brandon (ext 5739). I just got the Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S Plus for $630 out the door. Note this was for stock 265/50/20.

Brandon was the rep who helped me but I'm sure others are just fine too.

My last experience with them was pretty good as well. I was looking for some Michelins for my wife's Lincoln and BJ's had the usual $70 mfr rebate and $30 off installation as well and Mavis has a price match on their site. I clicked the price match and gave the info and received a phonecall from the corporate office and he beat the price with the rebates and set up the appointment as well. I'm going to do that with them for the D very soon. I'm looking at the Michelin Defender LTX. How do you like the Pirelli's?

So I didn't really look at your out the door price till today and considering four of those Pirellis are about 1K before taxes, that's an incredible deal. Did you call outright or use the request a quote option first and then start negotiating over the phone? TIA.

So far I like them but I’ve haven’t done much since I got them. They are really quiet though and have some really good grip

So I a few weeks ago I was on their site and just called the number at the top of the home page. I thought I was calling my local shop but it redirected me to their corporate sales office. Asked for a quote and “boom” he gave me a great price. I verified it was the correct tire by going over the specs and it all checked out. He booked my appointment and emailed me the order number. It could not have been any easier.

Hey Shelby. I heard and read nothing but good things about the Defenders. Give corporate a call and see what they can do.
