What did you do to your Durango today?

Parked mine next to by brother-in-law's new Durango GT. He traded in a 2008 Charger Daytona because they needed more room in a vehicle. He misses the Hemi, but I have to say, this GT is pretty dang nice! Looks almost identical to my R/T, is very nicely equipped (minus the tech package) and should serve them well for what they need. He is glad he didn't have to get a minivan. LOL

Anyway, some pics of the cousins together:

Installed 35w Morimoto Elite kit, 35w, 5500k and some 6000k LED fogs. Went for a short ride tonight, but it's real foggy and can't really get a good feel for them, but they are definitely way brighter than the halogens. Took a little while longer than I expected to install it nice & neat, but I got it done. Planning on driving it to the gym bright & early tomorrow to see how well they do!

Drove the Durango to the gym early yesterday morning and then drove it again last night in the dark. Headlights are SO much brighter. The cutoff on the low beams is very crisp and the highbeams light up everything. Picked them up last week when TRS was running the 15% off, so the price wasn't even bad.

Did a few things this week. Tinted rear tail light, rebadged the dodge letters on the tail lights, installed pedals, put in 3D maxpider mats and finally installed led fog lights. Almost forgot bought a used diablo sport intune3 and loaded the 93 octane tune. Can’️t wait to get a custom tune in it!

On the 18 SRT it normally starts up in eco mode is which the suspension ss on street. Until you double tap the SRT button to switch to custom. So now when she starts up on eco street but like 2 seconds later drops to track and says service active dampering systems. Dealer said could be a bad shock or an electronic module that they want to try first because the shocks are 2200 bucks. Says could be 2 weeks or 2 months to get the part. So I shall wait.

Good to know. I felt like mine was riding really rough but cycled through the suspension settings and it seemed to help.

Got the running boards installed. I got them off of a black aspen at the junk yard. Reason for them was my wife has a hard time getting in already and now being 3 months pregnant I went ahead and snagged the only matching painted ones (oem) I could find local or online.
I’m not a huge fan of the look but figured if I had to get them If I was going to go oem for the cost and wasn’t sure if I would find a style I’d like for my Durango vs a truck
