Greetings everyone. Picked up a 2018 Dodge Durango R/T in black back in May. Slowly modding piece by piece over the next few months to a year. Im sure i’ll make other posts with specific questions & troubleshooting but this thread will serve as my place to keep a running update on the progress, supply pics, answer questions & take suggestions. Hope you all enjoy the ride.

Done:
- Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust
- Painted Taillight Tint

Future Plans:
- Body: Sarona Design Fenders, Front Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Diffuser, Mid-Hatch & Top Wing

- Rims & Tires: going up to 22”x10 or 22”x10.5 - Looking at the Black Rhino Safari but open to suggestions on any 5 spoke (classic or split). Any tire set-up suggestions are welcomed.

- Suspension: have considered bagging it with the Accuair Endo-CVT because I’ve seen that the entire set up can be contained in the rear storage compartment. If not, I’ll be going with Black-Ops Autoworks Road Magnets & Control Arms (any & all EXPERIENCED suggestions welcomed)

- Brakes: any & all suggestions on a brake set up that gives a custom/Big Brake look without a Brembo Budget are welcomed. For now, what I’m thinking about doing is replacing the stock rotors with black drilled & slotted rotors & adding an MGP caliper cover.

- Tint: Factory match on the front windows and a 50% windshield tint. Both using Formula One Pinnacle

- Paint/Wrap: As of now, I’m murdering it out (black on black on black on black) with pops of yellow in the MGP caliper covers & a large X-Lume LED badge centered on the front grill to match the black/yellow CA license plate. All other badges will be removed unless sponsorship opportunities present themselves...

(COMPANIES: my DMs are open, I rep sponsorships to the fullest, am a professional videographer/drone operator, am extremely adept at marketing/promo via social media, will travel to shows & enjoy long romantic sunset walks on the beach *wink*wink*wink*wink*)

...When I get bored with the myrdered theme in the future, I’ll probably go with some kind of two-tone scheme with a high gloss Plasti-Dip Autoflex coating in Wicked Wine & black.

I’m almost 100% concerned with strictly aesthetics & probably not diving into the performance side of modding with this build or i would’ve bought the SRT as my base.

There’s a few other minors things I’m considering with less priority including dressing up under the hood with Billet Tech & VMS racing swag, Diode/Devil Eyes LED headlights, TrueSpike Lug Nuts, interior chrome delete, Waylens Secure360 Dashcam, 4K Zoom Rear Camera with video rear view mirror, stealth plate covers, custom seat covers/floor/dash mats once the stock wears out, etc

Thank you for reading all that. Hope it all comes out as well as I see it in my head. All questions are welcomed, experienced tips/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for stopping by & I hope you dig the process.

Update 1: just ordered the Black Ops Autoworks Road Magnet lowering springs & Black Rhino Safari Wheels (22”x10”). Springs arrive in the next month or so
Have you gotten the lowering springs? How do you like them?

Not yet. Pre-order. Ship out late November. Considered cancelling & going with Mopar or Eibach’s instead due to the wait & the fact that the RMs are double the price but the RMs are said to get the most drop which I’m looking for. Just gonna have to wait it out.

Update 2:

Cancelled the Black Rhino Safari order & went with a set of Factory Reproductions Jeep SRT8 wheels (FR 63) in 22x10” +45. I like the aesthetics of both the same but the FRs saved me $500 & I can pick them up locally same day.

Should be picking up & getting them installed this Thursday.

- Caliper Covers from @cciest2014 on IG
- Eibach Pro-Kit
- Mopar non-load leveling rear shocks

• Lowering & Rotor swap will happen this Thursday.

Pics/price on the caliper covers?
I paid $170 but the price might’ve gone up to $200 as of 12/1/18. Extremely strong magnets. I like em cause they have a little more shape than the standard MGP covers. They’re custom made to order & he has different styles depending on what you’re looking for.

Update 4:

Yesterday I had the Eibach Pro-Kit, Rear Non-LL Shocks & R1 slotted & drilled rotors installed. Today I had the FR63s put on with 285/35/22 tires, caliper covers & spiked lug nuts.

Tomorrow or Monday, I’ll be tinting the front windows to match the factory tint on the back windows as well as a 50% windshield tint using Pinnacle.

Rear springs should settle & drop a little over the next month. Still debating whether to or not to add one of Sarona Design’s mid-hatch & top spoilers

Hi, I really like the covers, can one of you tell me what IG is, a website abbreviation or something? Thanks.

Instagram I guess.

Thanks man. The yellow will tie into the black/yellow CA plate when I actually put it on & tie in more when I receive the custom badges & emblems from billetbadges.com
Badges?!?! We Don't need no stinkin Badges!!!

Your ride looks sweet thus far, and I'm sure your custom badges will be awesome. For me though, uninterrupted baby bottom smooth paint is the cleanest look I know. Keep up the posts with the build, I'll be following. Nice job so far!

Your previous notes / comments indicate that these caliper covers were purchased from "@cciest2014 on IG" I am not familiar with Instagram, or how I would order through them. I checked with MGP and a few other major makers of caliper covers but none could identify these.

I particularly like these since as you said, they have a little more shape than most of the "1/4 of a pie pan" caliper covers, they are metal not plastic, mount securely and I would like very much to obtain a set for my 2018 Durango R/T but I can't seem to find out who makes / sells them.

Can you help???

Thanks,
