Does anyone have any confirmation of whether the new R/T and SRT Hood will fit on the 2014 Durango R/T? I seem to be getting conflicting info on this but would love to switch up the hood on mine to the new.

I have a 2015 DD RT. I’m planning to do the whole front fascia conversion including the hood. My question is... would I be able to replace the fog light with the 18 model with the front fascia conversion. Any tips would be helpful and thank you in advance.

This company has conversion kits for the front bumper or the front bumper and hood. They are using Mopar parts. The only issue I see is that the newer fog lights are $456 for the set! So the total with shipping would be around $2700 which does not include paint matching and installation.

Can someone get the part # for the 18 SRT\RT fog lights? Hopefully there will be an aftermarket fog light option soon.

This awesome EXACTLY what I was looking for...thank you!

That's a pricey conversion, but I have been dreaming about it for my 14 R/T as well. Gonna be like $5K when all said and done
All I did was a hood swap and it ran me $1570.42. I did everything the most cost effective way I could. I like the way it turned out, but I kind of like the 17 and below front bumper better anyway so it didn't bother me. The thing I wouldn't like about the 18 up front bumper on an older truck is it would have fake/dead parking sensors in it. Which from the looks, the kit doesn't come with. So you're either gonna have to buy sensor to fill the holes or do body work.

Well obviously they bring in cool air to the motor, but the question I was answering referred to asking about having to change anything for the air intake which has nothing to do with those vents. Don’t Fake News me as to i am way more Trumpier than you.

Well then that would depend on what intake he currently has on his truck wouldn't it? If he's running an open element filter he might want to think about at least covering it with a pre filter. You said
Those vents in the hood are just for show.
.....They are not. They are completely functional.

Dude, read the thread. He says air box. Even if he had an open aftermarket CAI, they are supposed to seal to the hood when it is closed. Which they usually don’t seal all the way and your just sucking in hot air off the engine anyways.

Dude know what you're talking about before throwing out info. The drivers side heat extractor is right over the filter for what ever type of intake it is.

my question is with the air intake housing. with the vents in the hood would i have to change up airboxes?
That could mean a couple different things. Being that you don't know what's on his truck, I'd say you are guessing.

Very pricey for this conversion

Let’s be real. Those hood vents were put there for looks more than functionality. And to try and look like an SRT so they can sell more vehicles. That little baby 5.7L doesn’t require those hood vents. Plenty of air goes thru the front grill to cool that motor down. Anyways, good debate. I’m sure some people will agree with you and some with me. Let’s just leave it there.
