Man lots of running board discussion lately. Believe I have these posted in 3 threads now, lol. Anyway great minds think alike, truck definitely looks meaner with the Dee Zee boards. Makes it appear wider and lower.

I have to admit they look fantastic and I'm not usually a fan of running board especially not on crossovers.

Are these the Dee Zee NXc? or NXt?

Its soo odd I can't find anything about these on their website. https://www.deezee.com/vehicles/dodge/durango/

I keep seeing pictures of your R/T reposted all over the place LOL! It looks like mine, and I see the running boards and realize I have a new mod to buy, thanks for that! It really looks good, and I've never been a fan of running boards. I have found though, that the drivers door sill is getting lightly scratched by my feet, so I'm thinking I might eliminate that by stepping over it with these on. Plus having added parking protection from door dings is a benefit.

Yea I'm in a lot of threads, lol. I never liked running boards much except on trucks but I wouldn't want the Durango without them now. You just have to remember to either step over or step on the board when you get out or your pants could get dirty. Takes a minute to get used to that. A truck could still get you with a door ding but you're protected from everything else which is great.

Hey, Mike, a little off topic. Is that a Race Deck floor in your garage? It looks nice!
Hey thanks! Yes, Race Deck freeflow tiles. It was actually much less expensive than a proper professional 2 coat epoxy w/ urethane top coat which I really wanted but we were at the top of our budget when we built our home so this saved some. I'm happy with how it turned out. I installed it in less than a day. Snaps together easy as Legos and you only cut tiles on two walls. Here's a pic when it was empty and after cabinet install (NewAge) which is another budget minded choice that worked out.

Hey bud can I confirm that the model number you gave, (DZ16201 is the correct one for the black boards I ask beacuse when i find it on amazon, it says

"Lightweight Aluminum Powder Coat Frame
Black Powder Coated Top Plate
Full-Length Black Powder Coated Accent Trim"

So the accentn trim and top plate are black but the 'almuminum powder coat frame' got me worried it may be silver?

Installing these on my 2018 RT today, and I notice that the mounting brackets Don’t quite clear the skirt. Did anyone else come across this? If so what was your fix?
In the picture you posted I notice the holes are horizontally slotted for adjustments, will the slotted holes be enough to clear the skirt?

The part that holds the step clears it. it's this bracket which holds the mount that hits the skirt. Is this normal? Do I just push the skirt out and let it rest on the bracket and call it a day? Am I screwing something up?

the arm that holds the step clears, it's the mount that holds the arm that hits the skirt.

Do I just bend the skirt and live with it, or am I doing something wrong?

Will bending the skirt cause problems later on?

Anyone else encounter this?
