Wife came home from work and said the steering wheel was clunking when she made a turn,and you could feel it in the wheel. I checked the front and all is tight and well greased. I drove it and it does clunk in the wheel,anyone got some ideas?? Thanks

Turns out we have done a couple of these before. There's a considerable amount of work involved (for example, we have to press a sleeve onto our collapsible shaft, then turn the outside diameter to fit the stock flange bearing, which is retained.) The price is in the $500 neighborhood, and we'd need to have the shaft here.

Ok I heard back from Borgeson. They reconfirmed that the price for making up the shafts would be around $500 but they did say the pics I sent had the entire column in them. Now if its just the intemediate shaft we want that has the Rag joint in it it'd be less. WHat they stated was that each of us should contact directly with what they want built all of us eliminating Rag joint and needle bearing area. He can be reached at Gil@borgeson.com.
