this ones been troubling me for the past 2 1/2months. somehow I've developed a pretty serious leak in my power steering. I can't determine where its leaking at. but I'll loose an entire resivior of fluid within 2wks, I've tightened up all the fittings. tried the Lucas stop leak for PS units and it didn't' even do anything.

anyone have any idea's before I rip everything out and buy all new?

Check the pressure switch in the steering system. If the leak is there it could easily wick up through the wiring harness and mess up a lot of the computer system.

As Mike said it wicks pretty aggressivily
It can raise havoc on many things once in the harness.
some have found the cooler to be leaking as well. With a leak that large I can't believe you don't see dripping anywhere.

well it looks like I found the leak. it appears to be leaking out the very top of hte gearbox where the steering shaft from the column/firewall feeds into it, the reason I don't see any puddling is because its running down along the frame/suspension and slowly dripping off.

so how do I fix this one? only was I can think is a new steering gearbox.

That would be correct. Either a new Box or rebuild yours.
Make sure you don't buy Rebuilts, but get new
The rebuilts just don't ever sem to work out
