tailgate beeper how to deactivate?

Hi, how can i deactivate the beeper from the tailgate? :?

hang on it might stop with out deactivate mine stopped beeping last week 2014 citadel

My thought would be to listen to where the beeping sound is originating from. Then, take apart whatever you need to, until you reach the beeper unit. Finally, unplug the beeper unit.

would probably be in your uconnect setting if any where.

Don't know what year you have, I have an 18' and in the Uconnect settings there is an option to turn it off.

Unless there is a setting, which I doubt for that year, doing what Dr. Jim (post #3) suggested would probably do the trick.
