I'm gettin a code p0301 which is cylinder 1 mifire. Is this a spark plug problem or something else I should look into when I change plugs. I haven't had the autolites in for 10,000 miles yet. Should I be running a different plug because of my setup? I have the FMTB, K&N FIPK, PPH headers, superchips, and flowmaster exhaust. I also have a good set of plug wires the Durango Dude suggested to me but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Whil I'm at it, Ill be doing a complete tune-up. Any suggestion? Products? I'm getting ready to sell the D. The time has come to move on. I don't wanna put any more money into modding it. If I do, I'm stuck with it for life. Ill probably be putting it on eBay in the next upcoming months

Rick the regular autolite 3923 's will be adequate for use

No not yet. Something new. Browsing for now. Not only am I going to sell it, but Ill be trading in my 2005 Altima for my wife. It has had emission troubles and tranny problems and it only has 33,000 miles on it. Time for it to go. I had a close friend of mine lose his life in a motorcyle accident where a DUI driver ran a light and side swipped him on his bike. For that reason I'm also selling my 2002 GSXR-1000

Why Do I see an totally Tricked out Escalade or H2 in your Future 26" Rims without any susp adj.?
One of my neighbors also just traded there Altima similar issues as well
Keep us posted

I don't know about that but I'd like something that not a lot of people have modded yet. I'd love 26-30 inch wheels, if they weren't 10 grand or more. LOL. I have a lil money but nothing like that. Maybe if I can get another sponsorship. Maybe a new challenger on 24's?

That would be Sweet!

No moisture since the Radiator hose fiasco. Is there any evidence that plugs like NGK or some other platinum plug will work better/worse. I only ask because I had a guy who seemed to know what he was talking about suggest I run a better plug with all the other mods I've done.

You have the same mods I have. I run the 3923s on purpose.

What others don't understand is that our Magnum motors WANT a colder plug. The stocker or all the special 'better' plugs don't deliver that. The 3923s do. Simple. The stocker is one range higher for emissions crap, not for better runabilty.

Change them out each 30,000 miles and all is good.

3923's are fine for that engine.

When you change the plugs, carefully look to see if #1 looks any different from the rest? the exact appearance of the plug can tell you a lot about what's going on in the cylinder.

If that doesn't tell you anything, and the ignition system is perfect (especially the cap and rotor), then it's time for a compression check.

My Guess is bad wire!
Also if you're considering selling D I'd recommend a good wire set but not an ultra expensive set since you won't be getting a long term benefit from it.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Don't know if you have tried it, but you could isolate the plug wire by swapping it to another cylinder. If the problem moves, the wire is bad. Quick and easy. Hope it helps. Ted
