Hello Steve,

I hope that the week end to been good!

Here after your suggestion, you could amount me the purchases of the pieces and the cost for the expedition in France? And if you can say me how you to send money? By PayPal can be? In advance thank-you to you.

Best regards, Denis.

I think the best approach would be to take a proposal for a hockey puck lift kit to a structural engineer before installation. If you have it correctly drawn up I can't think of any show stopper issues. The cost for certification wouldn't be excessive. I'm not saying I'll go that way as I was reminiscing about the good old days and wondered who else had seen hockey pucks in use. I'm actually looking for a 2 - 3 inch lift on my "D" which is doable with keys and add-a-leafs. The primary factor behind cost effectively building your own lift kit and having it certified is the ability to correctly design and build the components. For those who can't do this the best route is to purchase a kit. As for regulation changes, like all things fun the government has to stick its nose in it. At this point I'm unaware of any issues with lift kits in either of our provinces but if there were a structural issue anywhere, perhaps some of the old clunkers - particularly commercial vehicles - out there should be given a closer look.

Hello Indy,

Thank-you commentary this is sympa! For the essay turn it na taken not place for it was necessary to move the D', to solder the reinforcements of superior triangles and at this point in time it there to had of the breaks!

I have to send a message private to Steve, with pics for it's necessary 2 new shock absorbers for the before for they're twisted!

Denis.

2 of the new ones were twisted? Ranchos? Or was it 2 of the ones he had on there before the new ones twisted?

What twisted them? The new parts they had already added? I'd think stock settings/placement shouldn't twist any shock.

:? :wall:

They installed the new shocks Indy But something on the suspension lift failed and bent the shocks In the front. The Tuff country lifts aren't known to be strong and lets not forget that They Grafted parts in from a 99 or 99 D to make the kit work.
I'll order the shocks and get them out ASAP

So what's the specs on the lift? Not sure if I read this right, but from what I gather, its a 5.5" tuff country lift modified to fit on a 00+ rango? is this correct? didn't feel like reading through the whole thread to be truthful?lol.

Looks good though. I like the height. What size tires ya runnin? Any plans to go higher?
