Hey guys, unfortunately my new to me D did not come with any sort of back seat entertainment system. One of the reasons we bought it was to have room for the family on trips, and one of the things we loved about Suburbans and Tahoes we looked at was the roof DVD player.
I figure I am more than handy enough to install an aftermarket one, but now that I look at the roof inside, there's this weird curve in the headliner that leads me to believe I won't be able to mount a DVD player up there. The one good flat spot is already occupied by the rear HVAC controls.
In another post a guy is asking about headrest screens, which I really DON'T WANT, but I will if I have to.
I'd be interested in seeing what you guys are using for roof mounted DVD systems! Fire away!
