Uconnect Update: Can I change the voice?

So my 2015 Durango just received the new Uconnect update over the weekend. After the update, the voice used for speaking the texts or navigation has changed. This woman voice is softer and very difficult to hear. She talks as if she is on some 1-900 call line, not a navigation system...lol. Overall I find it extremely difficult to make out what she is saying. Is there a way to change the voice, or am I stuck with this wispy-speaking woman now for the rest of my life with this vehicle?:confused:

Would love to see some before and after vids, with both voices. Curious if I am going to get an update or not. My 16 already has some of the features I have seen mentioned in the update.

"Well you could turn her volume up...so she's whispering louder."

That's funny! But seriously, I did turn it up...she still sounds like she just doesn't enunciate as well as the previous voice. Even louder, its difficult to hear with road noise.


It is version 17.11.07

You know I haven't tried it since the update, but now you have me curious.
I did change the splash screen, but that's about it...other than I checked to see if I have the camera Icon like the newer D's have, but no-go on that.

I got the update on Monday in my 2017, and I did not notice a change in the Nav voice. I haven't played with any settings to see if there is anything new yet either. I have a backup cam so that has always been there...
