what is the deal with the engine cover? yeah it kinda dresses up the engine and hides up some stuff but does it have any real purpose? I would simply remove it if it doesn't provide any real value. Does it act like some kind of heat shield from the hood? it's just plastic with some foam underneath and push pins. I took it off to check out the engine and I would much rather look at the engine then that cover.
