I can't even hear the exhaust just sounds like engine noise and the intake. Got any clips from behind it? Also how much louder did it make your exhaust and did it introduce any drone? What exhaust do you have after the headers?

I have the full ARH headers and exhaust setup. All ARH from start to finish. I did ceramic coating on it as well.

I'll work on getting some exhaust video's of before and after.

My exhaust is relatively quiet until I punch it. It sounds great, and really not a whole lot of "drone," but then again that's in the ear of the beholder...

Did you do the catback then the header or all at once?

Got a Borla cat back and it definitely produces drone when eco mode is on. It's not super loud but you can hear it when driving at low rpms. At 70+ there’s no drone in the exhaust with eco on. If you turn eco mode off, all drone that you get goes away immediately.

Have kooks headers in the garage, hoping that will clean up some of it because I do 99% of my driving with eco mode engaged. The exhaust sounds real nice at WOT though! You will catch people's attention real quick.

Hope this helps and I’ll post an update after install.

Posted this in another thread but since it’s and exhaust mod and this is an exhaust thread, posting here only makes sense.

Just finished the install on my kooks headers. Let me tell ya what! A serious battle with those things. Still awaiting to see the performance gain, gotta get to a half tank and then I’ll test it out. Reason is because that’s what every other run was at.

The instructions were pretty on point but having a AWD it makes it a little tougher. Make sure you have plenty of time to do this, the drivers side will give you fits. Front drive shaft, steering column, and other components are in the way. The passenger side was a breeze, just a lot of small turns with a ratchet wrench. Install would be easier in a RWD for sure.

No real notice in sound from previously having the borla in but my buddy says it sounds a little more raspy.

Also make sure you get an additional set of 24” O2 extensions. Kooks supplies you with one set. However you will need another set for the sensor in the cats.

One other curveball i hit was the exhaust flanges not lining up. Too easy though take a dremel and mill out some of the flange on the cat back. Problem solved! Take it little by little though, always better to measure twice and cut once. So I’ve heard anyway.

Any questions feel free to ask, I’d be more than happy to answer if possible

Stock manifolds and cats

Long tubes and connection pipes

Quick update.

With the long tubes i no lolonger have drone at any speed, rom, or gear.
