Looking to put some HID's in my headlights on my 14 DD to replace the stock halogen bulbs. I'm looking for a kit that comes with everything that you need to make it flicker free and error free. The other thing is it must be from Amazon. I get my items there at large discounts and sometimes even free so that is the only place I buy parts from unless they don't carry what I need. Here is what I was looking at after a quick search. Any idea if this will work or of anything better out there?

I just had morimoto xb55 installed from TRS. I prefer it to my previous two diy solutions from amazon. The color option are limited, but you can grab other bulbs later. They even have a Mopar specific harness to resolve all our issues while also being high quality.

Unfortunately there aren't any Moritomo 9012 kits on Amazon and I am going to purchase from there since I get a large discount.

9006 is the same exact bulb base and alignment tabs. 9012 bulbs just have a slightly larger alignment tab. So a 9006 will pop right in and align properly.

Same with 9005 and 9011. The 9011 has a larger alignment tab, I trimmed it and upgraded my high beams.

I didn't know that but it certainly opens up a lot more possibilities for bulbs to purchase. The 9012 was the part that was limiting my selection. Thanks for the info.

Did you use the relay kit and capacitors with those ballasts or just go straight ballast hooked into factory plugs?

Originally I used the relays and capacitors. However, I pinpointed that the relays gave me some strange electrical noise at times... So those were removed... Still using capacitors.

Also what is known is that Chrysler vehicles are very finicky when it comes to aftermarket lights/wiring. And reading through probably every HID post on this forum, no 2 Durangos seem to act the same.. Some take it just fine, while others fight you with everything you do

I had terrible issues of one bulb not starting up with my 2011 until I switched to Opt7.. Then problem fixed (99%of the time)

I am currently trying Opt7s LED headlights in my 2014, and so far I like them
