Hi everyone new to this group so pls go easy on me[emoji23]. I have an 08 Dodge Durango that had the cel on and every 2-3 drive cycles the red lightning bolt symbol would flash and the car would drive like crap. So I use old trusty and check the cel and got an evaporative system and idle air excessively high rpm, so I replace the pcv valve and reset the cel, take for a drive and the cel doesn't come back on but after stopping at the store and restarting my SUV I get down the street and the red lightning bolt starts flashing and when I let off the gas it feels as if I'm being pulled back from my rear end. So I do a quick search on the lightning bolt and everything I read pointed to the throttle body being bad so I buy the throttle body and replace it, this seemed to have fixed the problem for a couple days and then about an 9:30pm I go for a drive and "BOOM" red lightning bolt flashing and the SUV starts acting up again. I'm hoping someone can maybe point me in direction I may have overlooked or something that I might need to check. And srry for the long post but I've been told before to give as much info as I can when posting for help.

The lightning bolt is the electronic throttle control warning.

I don't know how the 3.7 and 4.7 are setup..

the 5.7 has an integrated actuator and sensor in the throttle body... check the connector at the throttle body on the off chance it is loose/corroded/damaged.. and maybe carefully clean the throttle body (be careful to not get any cleaner in the mechanism area) .. but it seems likely you'll need a new throttle body..

The throttle body has been replaced with a new one and the flashing symbol still remains.

Also make sure the wires going into the connect, both on the TB side and the ECM are fully seated. The ECM will be a pita unless you can find the cable pinout diagram, browse the wireloom going to TB and see if their maybe damage...

Will check it out, the harness was replaced a few months back so maybe by some stroke of dumb luck they aren't fully seated
