Looks like we have a 'shoe-in' for our July DD of the month. Right purdy!
The hood does look too 'solid' though. Maybe some red Dodge stripes, or a CF wrap job?

Yea, not a big fan. I second some of the suggestions to do stripes to break up the red. Maybe one big black stripe up the middle

Sorry, I'm part of the not a fan club. I think it's too much of a change where the hood blends into the front fenders. If the sides of the hood were red it might look better with black accents in the middle (dual or center stripes).

Looks like you damaged your original hood and bought a replacement and haven't had a chance to get it painted yet. I like the hood just need to be painted to match. Have custom black decal to fill the indentations on each side of the center of the hood back to the windshield.

the body lines of the Durango do not support a solid black hood, nice hood by the way which one is it?

I think the only other way to pull this off is to black out the roof and bumper etc so it all lines up and looks very intentional. Maybe red in the indentations as well

I dont like the gloss black for the same reasons above, looks like an unpainted replacement hood. I do like the old muscle car look of a flat black hood that they do on some of the Challengers. Also carbon fibre would be nice. Otherwise the thing I like specifically with the Durango hoods is when the bulges are done with the accent color.

While many dislike it, I think if you but matching red stripes on the hood, did the roof in black, it could look pretty good actually.

Just like it is, I agree it appears as an accident replacement.

I'd either paint the roof and lift gate black as well. Alternatively how about a couple red stripes front to rear on the hood in the red body color?

Im going to go with a hard pass on the black lol but the hood is fire
