Alright, so I'm in the process of replacing the quarter panel on my 2001 Dodge Durango 102K
I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this or if there's a video / tutorial out there for doing it I'm pretty much half way done, I can do it without help just wanted to know if anyone had any advice or if there was any information on the subject I'll include pictures of the damage

Not sure about the '01, but I do know the '04~present DDs are "unibody", which means the only way to attempt repairs is by using "chop-n-weld methods". In some cases, repairs to a warped body are not practical due to the fact that the body doubles as the frame.
It might be way cheaper to just pull it's drive rain and stick it in another body.
If the driver's side passenger door is hard to open, you can count on the body being too warped to chop-n-weld. The distortion of the left fender well concerns me too.

I've looked at the body the damage is isolated to the quarter panel skin and some panels on the inside they are all spot welded together so that makes it a lot easier, the frame is in good shape the tow hitch took most of the hit and I already have another 01 for parts so I'll be taking the bumper and hatch off that and getting the part rust free for $100 at my local pull a part

Numberthree:
The Gen 2 Durangos (04-09) had frames also. The Gen 1's and Gen 2's were all built in the now closed Newark, Delaware plant. The Gen 3 D ('11 and newer) are unibody.

Almost done, just have to drill out a few more spot welds to take off the last damaged parts and prepare the rest for the new parts to be welded on hopefully will be getting the donor parts this weekend from a rust free donor at my local pull a part

Reviving this thread - just wondering if anyone else has ever done this or used patch panels from a Rear wheel dakota to fix the rear quarters? Shame on these things that they are all one piece like this, because they always rot!!

Stop complaining. You apparently live in the Rust Belt. Try Desert Valley Auto Parts here in Phoenix.
