I'm at about 55k miles with my Citadel Hemi 2014, last 3-4 weeks I've been noticing my Durango not upshifting properly when accelerating from a stop or low speeds to 60mph+, it wants to hang onto 4th or 5th gear while reving up when I notice the higher rpm's / hear/ and feel it not shifting I'm having to let up off accelerator so it'll upshift, happens about 1 out of 4 Hwy trips annoying and concerning.

I usually leave the eco on as well, any thoughts??!!

Does it have a tow/haul mode that may be engaged? My V6 doesn't have it but I am not sure since my Hemi Ram does and has a closer tow rating to a Hemi D.

Does it only do it when cold?

Turn off your ECO mode and see if it does it. ECO mode tends to hang on to the gear a bit to keep RPM's lower, overall. Otherwise, to service department you shall go.

Not seeing any "tow mode", will try eco option off, does that really save all that much MPG? Usually only when colder, thanks guys!
I dont think it does. I usually turn it off when Im driving around the city, dont like how it feels, kinda sluggish and takes longer for gear to engage when you"gun it"...lol! Sometimes I turn it on when Im on the fwy, but mostly keep it off. Mine stays off and remembers to stay off even when you turn the DD off, so its convenient. Anywho, is this a new thing you are feeling when driving or something youve always experienced?

This all sounds like the normal torque management built in from the factory that everyone deals with until they get a tune. The trans doesn't want to downshift very quickly at all in any condition. Usually takes foot in the carpet. That's why I usually shift it manually when I know I will want to be able to pass or change lanes more quickly. That is, until I get a tune on it.

one other thing I thought of is that these transmissions have learning software so they will learn your driving and try to adapt.
Might try to reset the trans.
Just not sure how you do that with the ZF.
The Merc trans you can unplug a fuse and re-set it back to factory specs...so might be the same with the ZF.
