for the price you are getting a purpose designed fog lamp, not a retrofit, you get a complete assembly.
you also have the massive heatsink behind the led. these say 15W on them i believe. These should be 6k.
Cool - I tried to blow up the photos of the Mopar units on the eBay listing to try and read the printing, but could not see any verbiage about wattage. If they are truly 15W then that is about 60% higher output than the Phillips (9.3W) which may very well make them worth the higher price. Any change you could post a photo?

it is installed, but i'll look at my spare set of ram rebel oem fogs when i get home later. It is the same heatsink/fog light asides from the mounting bracket.

These should work fine in 2017.. but you probably need one of those canbus cancellors, possibly the older designed ones with a capacitor.

installation is easy, pry old ones off, they snap in. and plug these in. easier if you have drive on ramps. scratched my fat face on my front bumper due to not using ramps.

Lights are not aimed yet, marked off the lines on my garage door for future aiming, but not tonight. You can see from the cuttoff on the wall, that they are definite.. not aimed yet. Sorry, maybe saturday night.
how do you like the new lights compared to the stock ones?

Those look great. If I didn't already have HIDs in mine, I'd go this route

Sorry to resurrect this thread but.....did anyone try the TYC lights in a 2015-2018? I really don't want any extra wiring. Just plug and play.
2014-2017, and 2018+ all models EXCEPT R/T and SRT.

So it will work in all except 2018+ R/T and SRT, as those 2 have rectangular led fogs from the factory.

Since we're on the subject of fog lights, does anyone know if the dual LED fogs like on the 2018 MY will fit in the opening for a 15 MY?
I realize you'd need the entire housing/bezel/trim, but will it be a direct replacement into the bumper opening and plug up without any cutting/splicing?

The wiring is different and the bumper is not compatible with the rectangle Fogs. You would need to customize the dog area of yours a lot. But anything is possible, not always worth it. Also the plugs on the wiring are different I’m told.

The are not that special anyways from what I was told. They are same as the base model Chargers minus a diode.

From the sound of it, prob not worth the effort.
Saw them on the new 18s at the dealer on Saturday, thought they looked pretty good, figured I'd ask the Durango brain trust here about them....
Like I say it could be done, but how would it look or cost? And are they even that great of performance?

The TYC are a bargain for performing so insanely well, hard to beat.

So the TYC is a full fog light housing/reflector replacement, and not just a bulb?
Tried searching for them, and found several using the 68228884AC referred to above, but not sure this is the TYC referenced earlier in the post.
????

Yes it’s a full housing and mounts just like the OEM halogen one. Being a complete unit the housing and optics are designed around the LED making it amazing.

It’s the Fog light from the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and SRT chargers.

The 68228884AC is a Dodge part number aftermarket for TYC is below, check amazon, eBay or CarID
