C'mon Already!

John, if it's not ready and displayed at SEMA, I'm going to come up there and finish that D for you. I suggest you get crackin. No one likes a roller. :cheesy:

LOL I could probably use an extra hand Bill. I'll supply the beer. ;)

You got it.

Remember young ones: Beer turns more bolts than WD-40.
Also, there's a lot of good ideas in a pint. Not so many in a quart.

Bill, I received your message and I'm glad the telepathic strength I sent to you helped!
Now John, I could send you some to get that D Done!

Dude, you better work faster. Any longer and we'll have to change the title of this thread to The "old" Build Up "Still" with No Progress.

Sweet set-up John. Congrats!

Would that Eastcoat paint work for the valve covers? I just got the Mopar Magnum set (same ones as you) but I didn't want to shell out $150 to have them powder coated. Would judicious spray-on work?

You're taking the D on a trailer?? What's the point??

That Duplicolor paint will work on valve covers? I painted the magnesium ones on my 4.7 with the metalcast red.
Prep the surface, coat with 2 coats of metalcast base coat, and then follow up with the metalcast color of your choice.

John, just get it done in time for Samantha to drive!
What a nice gift from dad to daughter upon HS graduation! J/K

It's

Duplicolor
Sold in most big chain auto parts stores or wally world. Make sure you get the ground coat and, if you're painting any plastic parts with it, get some adhesion promoter. It's also sold in spray cans.

No kidding. Trust me, this has been a major test of my patience.

Thanks man!!

I also have to concur with Steve. The bonus is that the metalcast paint is also high temp so it's perfect for valve covers.

If you don't have the patience for it you could just give it to me. :D

Sorry poppa, we have all had dibs on that thing for about 2 years!
I need another daily driver anyway! LOL

Yeah, I've had numerous threats from DOC members that they're going to come in the night and steal it. But that's after they get by my security system? the moat with gators in it, snipers on the rooftops, laser grid, titanium reinforced car cover, and rabid dogs.

And you'd think after all the money I spent on security, I could have bought myself a frickin' garage!!

:D:D:D:D:D:D

Wow all that stuff came with the car cover you have on it?
