Headlight swap problems, please help

I have a 99 Durango, which I love and have been making small mods to and want to make larger ones.

I just put Alteza tailights in with no trouble but I bought a set of ABM Motorsports one piece headlights and, even though they're the right model, size, etc., they don't fit correctly.

We tried putting in the driver's side light and although the mount fits flush against the fender, the corner of the light sticks out about 2".

We tried using the headlamp adjustment screws to pull the light closer to the mount but it didn't help. There's one screw in the middle of the unit that you can't reach that has silicone all over it. I don't know if cutting that out would bring the light in closer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried to find ABM online but can't.

Thank you. Gary

Didn't find a web site but did find their contact info listed on several forums where their Ford F-150 one-piece headlights were mentioned.

ABM Motor Sports LLC
75-5491G-1 Mamalahoa Hwy
Holualoa, HI 96725
Phone: 808-324-1508
Contact: Steve Grimme (abm@hawaii.rr.com)

BTW, if you don't have any info about them, where did you get their headlights from :? Have you tried to contact whomever you bought them from about your problem?

I can't believe it, you just made my day. You're the best.

I got them from motorsportshouse on eBay. They're a nightmare to deal with! They don't return calls or emails and it took me two months to get them.

I found info on their Ford stuff but never got their contact info. I really appreciate it.

Gary

Update:
The email is no good so I'll try calling.

You'll get zero with that Hawaiian number. Forget about it. Try to call the Hawaiian guys if you want (I did six months ago), but it won't help.

I'm setting up a distributorship for the lights, however, there's no tech support for them currently.

If the lights don't fit correctly, you simply haven't installed them correctly. If there's a slight looseness, that could be fine tuning. If it's very loose or very out of the space, again, you haven't installed them correctly or have made a mod to the light you shouldn't have.

There are about half a dozen regulars here with the one piece lights and I'm one of them.

Keep in mind Gary, none of the one-pieces I've seen are perfect. They look? unfinished. The biggest mistake isn't centering and locking the small ball-joint fitting (I didn't and couldn't get them to seat properly.) I've been experimenting with some RV/marine trim pieces to improve the finished product.

Thanks. I don't think I'll get anywhere with the Hawaii guys. At worse I figure I'll try to resell them to someone local here who wants to give it a shot and buy a set when you're set up.

We really did install them correctly. My brother-in-law is an aircraft mechanic and works on very small parts and has the patience I don't. The light mounting fit flush against the fenders. We could have bolted it in right there and it'd have fit flush, but the light unit itself is sticking out at the corners where the amber turn signal would go.
