Key FOB has left the vehicle

Hi... when someone gets out the passenger door and it shuts, the truck is telling me the key fob has left the vehicle.... and NO the person leaving the passenger side does not have the key fob.

At first I though the battery was dying, but it happens with both key fobs... it also took awhile to clue in/figure out that it happens when the passenger gets out and shuts the door.

My 2015 doesn't do that , sounds like yours needs a software update? Maybe you could try unhooking the battery for a few minutes to see if it resets. Bob

when My wife had her challenger keys in her purse while I had mine, I get the occasional No FOB detected when she leaves, Found out that these FOB's, with the active keyless go option, are always transmitting and the cr2032 battery dies within a couple years, as well as dust gets into the printed circuit board inside fob. I had to buy new fobiks due to the trouble I was getting after year 4 and 3 batteries.
