Hi Guys

So when I was wanting to just install the rear JGC springs there was limited information and it was in pieces so I thought this might be a good idea to start this thread. So in this post you will find pics of the springs, pics of the model # on the springs and a photo from my body shop doing a before and after. I have 22" Viper Reps and my tires are a 285/45/22 Hankook Ventus, Truck is a 2015 R/T Black Top. Very important to note that Eibach makes two spring sets, one for the SRT (Not the one I used) and one for the regular V8 JGC (The ones I used). The part number to the spring set is 28108.540, however if you call them directly you can order just the rear springs for $172.00 total including shipping. The part number for JUST the rear springs is 28108.002 (See picture below). The drop looks great from the one picture the body shop sent but once I get the car back I will take plenty more pics and I will also try and video tape the drive up-close from the outside (using my drone) to show travel, rub, etc...Also with the Drone, I can get 4K video from all around the car so you can see it from every angle. Hopefully this helps anyone else doing the same thing because everything was really unclear when I had to do it and I had no real idea how it would turn out. OK, I will keep you guys updated. I am told I will have the car in less than 2 weeks. Feel free to ask any questions as I am specifically documenting things as much as I can for this Forum.

All I want to know is #1 do you have self leveling shocks and #2 is it level? I don't want it down in back!

Looks great though! I have Eibach on my G8 and love them!

My fear is I lower it with springs and the leveling shocks bring it back up to where it was! ;)

I have the same concerns as Chewy. I was planning on doing the whole kit, but if just the rear levels it out nice, that would be AWESOME. I, too, have the leveling shocks (which I believe are standard on the 2015 R/T regardless of tow package), and am concerned the rears are going to be useless because of the shocks.

Regardless, thanks for starting this thread. I have been looking for info for weeks, and haven't found much. Although with RM being available again, I guess we are back to two options.

To the credit of a lot of members on this forum, I found out that all R/T's come with self leveling shocks, Tow package or now. For now I am going to leave the shocks in as I think it will lower enough with them in there. Also, I don't want to lose the self leveling because when I have passengers in the rear, it levels the truck out. Otherwise it gets MAJOR, under-steer. Ill be Guinea Pig on this one!

This was my concern too. It looks fine in the picture but Im not sure if they started the truck up and gave the shockls a chance to level. It might be that they dont level till you drive a bit. In either instance, we will know in about two weeks when I get the truck back.

whats going on with the truck that they are going to have it for 2 weeks?

I am actually going to be installing my Road Magnet rears for a few days so I can help out my price for install. Rears are easy to install so figured I would do them and have shop do my fronts next week.

It ate a Corolla! Haha

I rear ended someone when she decided half way through the intersection to just stop for no clear and apparent reason whatsoever. I was following too close to stop.

I have eibach front and rear on 15 RT. I swapped out the Load levelers with mopars non LLs and added helper bags as others have done. Im not a fan of the bags cause they squeak, there rubbing on the inside of the springs. So i only air them up when needed. I do have a set of Monroe shocks to swap out the Mopars with cause i think one is bad. I do not have the Bwoody stuff rear passenger has a .04 negitve camber with isnt bad but all the rest of the alignment was put back into spec. Im running Stock wheels. I have pics with and with out LLs but not here right now.
Why you only doing Backs.

I'd love to see both of the sets of pics when you have a chance!

Gotta say, I was worried the rake would be worse, but I dont mind the look with the LL's

You wont notice the rake all the time cause the LL lower after it sits a while. I might go back to them. I have a set of Monroes to replace the mopar NonLLs I think the right rear is bad, i keep hearing a clunk at certain times. All thou im not sure its not the truck its self.

OK, just picked up the car.....Ride is perfect. I tested it over some really huge dips and its hard to make it rub.....Car sits PERFECTLY even. It is without a doubt exactly what I was looking for....Here are some dirty pictures and a video. I will clean the car this weekend and get some good pics and drone footage of it driving. If anyone wants any particular angle or area pictures just shoot me a PM or post it and I will make sure to take a pic for you.

Hi Guys,

So I have been driving it for a couple days and its is solid. The car was at the shop with the springs installed for almost a month so the springs have already settled in. The car is perfectly level. I went to my local car shop yesterday for exhaust work and the owner wanted to drive in it because he has Durango clients and didn't put the Eibach in the rear because he heard that it becomes bouncy. After driving in my car he called his clients and told them that he thinks its a solid move. I had a different concern all together. My line of thought was that once the rake goes away that the car will start to understeer and nothing of the sorts has happened. if anything, I am a bit more confident are corners with the weight being a little lower over those rear wheels. Have gone full blown and thrown the tail around but I will eventually. Here are some more pics with the car a little cleaner.

I dont know why these are upside down and cant fix it. SOrry.

screenshot and rotated the pictures, looks perfect. I think you may have sold me on doing the rears, leaving the LL's, and skipping the RM springs

Honestly, the pictures don't even do it justice. I get goosebumps every time I see my car right now. Its visually perfect. The other day another R/T owner was checking it out in the parking lot and he LOVED it as well.

So all you did was eibach rears??
What was part number
