Ok Crew, here's the deal?

I'm looking into making a huge purchase to start making all sorts of vinyl graphics and letering. This, hopefully will be a new self-employed, part-time job for me. Would this be something everyone here's interested in??

Moderators, feel free to jump in on this one!!

I feel I could supply a lot of talent and artwork to this club!!

So, come on everybody?give up those opinions and let me know if this is good for us!!

I can only wish you the best of luck in your quest.
That type of business I believe is booming right now. Especially with the subcompact market.
I think it'll be a great asset to have someone in the business close to the club.

I know I'd be interested, I'm thinking about adding some decals in the future. I could probably generate more interest in the philadelphia area, I have friends in car clubs that are always looking for quality graphics. I'd be happy to pass out some business cards and let them know about you!

Thanks ShelbyStyle, I'm just in the beginning stages. Just been approved for the credit so I need to order the equipment, get a small website or web store up and running, and get some cards together!!
I'll definitly take all of the word of mouth and help I can get!!

Hopefully, I'll be fully up and running by beginning of April.

whew?I wish you all the luck in that venture. My wife is a graphics designer (she has her Masters in Fine Arts.) We looked into doing vinyl graphics and just the machines alone are big money items. We're not ruling it out, but wow!! She has her own freelance company now and we send stuff out for print because the machines are way outta our league?

Rod, Yes?very expensive, but I think it'll be worth it in the long run!

John, I'll certainly look into some sort of domed graphics and see if the machine I'm getting will support it.

Kid,

This is good news :cheesy: Since I put on the club decals, my wife has told me that I need to "balance" out the truck. I put the larger club website on the right side rear window and now she wants me to put something on the other. Email me when you're up and running and I'll let you know what I want for her.

Ditto here on all the well wishing!! I was just looking at the oval spot on the tailgate and thinking how that would be a great place to fill with www.durangoclub.com, in black to contrast the CPR of my D. also, I've been wondering about a tint strip for the inside of my windshield with the URL in CPR. and maybe something for the rearmost side windows like Durango Owners Club in CPR with each word in its own line. I've got ideas. just need the person to make it happen. I might even come to you to test fit and see what sizes fit best, although there are members closer? Philly is only about 1.5 hours (to the airport) from me.

Please, get it going sooooooooooon!! :twisted:

UPDATE?

OK, Good news!! My loan was approved today :!: :clap: :cheesy:
I'll be ordering up the equiptment this week,so a little time to learn how to use the stuff and I'll be able to start printing for everyone. At a reasonable price as well.

Thanks to all who are requesting vinyl, and please, spread the word?I'll need all the business I can get :!: :!:
Need to pay off this loan now!

I'll let you all know ASAP as to when the equiptment arrives here! :clap:

Sounds great Kid!! Congrats! I definitely want you to run some stuff off for me but I can't wait. I have shows starting next Saturday. When I need more or replacements, I'll give you a shout.
