Guess this may be the right forum, but how do I adjust the height of headlights on my 2014 DD. One is pointing higher than the other making it hard to drive at night.

There's supposed to be a step with HID's, it's to not blind oncoming traffic. I believe the halogens also make a step, same concept, to prevent blinding oncoming traffic.

Okay, but the offset (step I guess you're calling it) is significant. Seems to be too much. So I assume there is no way to adjust these then? I ask too because the front end was in an accident and I was wondering if the big variance had to do with something from that.

How big of a variance?

Yeah, they're way off. The dealer told me their the projector lenses and should self adjust, but they're not and my warranty is up. He said since they're self adjust I cannot manually adjust them so I may be screwed :-(

You're dealer sucks, no offense. Sounds like since you're out of warranty they want nothing to do with you.

I have projectors and auto leveling also but on a 2011. On mine there is a small hole with a plasticky rubbery looking Philips head just behind both headlights, stick a screw driver down in there and carefully turn them and it adjusts the headlights up and down. I'll take a picture later for you when I'm not at work.

Keep in mind that I have a 2011 which has a different style of headlight, yours might not be in the same exact spot... Never been under the hood of a 2014+ model.

I'm in the middle of a saga with this myself. I have a 2014 R/T with auto leveling lights. I had the passenger side assembly replaced under warranty and they never reset the computer so both headlights were pointing literally at the ground in front of the car (not fun driving up an unlit parkway at 430 in the morning going to work). So I brought it back and they reset the computer but the assembly they replaced was still too low even though the system was now working properly. I brought it back again, they reset it again and no change. So I opened a case with FCA and brought it to another dealer. They told me they deactivated the auto level system, then manually zeroed out the lights, then reactivated the auto level system and now the headlight which was replaced is about 3" higher than it was against the shop wall and even with the other light. I haven't had the car out at night but it sounds like this second dealer actually knows what they are doing and did it the right way. So my guess is your dealer doesn't know what they are doing and you should find one who does.
