Nice set up, all you need is rt head lamps and your truck with look sinister.
Thanks. Haven't decided what I want to do with the head lamps yet, if anything at all. I will be replacing the grill with a blacked out grill and the lower fascia with an R/T fascia. I do have a RK Sport carbon fiber hood on order that will help make it look more sinister.

Nice. The Citadel has all of the luxury amenities and is a good platform to upgrade. What do you plan on doing to yours?
What I would like to do is lower it an inch like the R/T for better handling. I used to drive lowered S10's in my 20's(had a 3/4 drop). I may go with after market coil springs or simply buy the ones that the R/T rides on. I know the R/T springs are just lowered by 0.8 inches versus the Citadel and the Crew models. I don't want to go too low as I don't want to be bottoming out. I don't want to have to deal with that anymore.

Since the 2012's and the 2013's are hampered by the 6sp tranny with the gear ratios so spread out, I will probably swap out the 3.42 for a 3.90 rear end. Chevy produces a 4.11, and I did that swap in my 88 S10. Not sure if Dodge, has one?

I would like to eventually add a Whipple Supercaharger like your doing. That will make the biggest performance boost.

I may explore swapping out the 6spd for the 8spd tranny. I was told by Dodge that 8spd tranny is only 3600 for a 2014 R/T. What would get expensive is all the modules that will be swapped out, but I will have to do the research since it looks like nobody has ever done the swap. I plan to keep this ride for a long time at least 8 years minimum, so I will explore that option too. The parts guy in the Dodge dealership tried to talk me out of the potential swap, but it can be done.

Thanks for helping me spend more money :D These will be here early next week.

Dropped off a new grill and lower R/T fascia at the paint shop this morning. Soon, all of the chrome on the front will be gone.

Yes, they are the OEM HID with the chrome bezel that came with the truck. I'll probably be putting them up for sale along with all of the brake parts.

This morning I picked up the grill and lower fascia from the paint shop. After work I backed the Durango into my workshop and removed the original bumper/lower fascia unit, the grill, and the headlights with the chrome bezel. Then I installed the new headlights with the black bezel and the grill. Next, I removed the old fascia from the bumper and installed the new one, then re-installed the bumper. From start to finish it took about 1.5 hours. Here's some before and after photos.

Last week I ordered and received some Chemical Guys products for balck paint. Since we had a long weekend I decided to apply them on the Durango and I also cleaned the engine bay. I went through a 7 step process:
1. Wash and dry
2. Went over it with a clay bar
3. Applied 3M compound with a DA polisher using a medium cut pad to get rid of a few parking lot scratches
4. Applied 3M machine polish using the polisher with a polishing pad
5. Applied Chemical Guys Jet Sealant using the polisher and a polishing pad
6. Apllied Chemical Guys Black Light color enhancer the polisher and a polishing pad
7. Applied Chemical Guys Black wax by hand

The photos really don't do it any justice. Basically, it looks like a wet, black mirror. I've had many black cars and tried many different products but the Chamical Guys Black products seem to give the best wet, reflective look.

After finishing with the outside, I moved to the inside and cleaned it and conditioned the leather. Then I added some carbon fiber accents using 3M 1080 car wrap vinyl.

I'm loving that carbon fiber, might be my next mod! And what radio is that? Does it sound better than the stock? My wife's caliber with the STOCK most basic system sounds better than my "506 watt Alpine system"

Previous Upgrades
First upgrade was a Mopar CAI and then a Borla catback exhaust. Recently I installed the Diablo Sport 93 octane tune. I used the Trinity 1/4 mile run to get a base line before installing the tune. Here are some before and after times for the 1/4 mile.

Kirk
Kirk,

Could you please post the screen shots of before and after once you install the Wipple Supercharger? I would love to see how much of a difference it makes in the 0 to 60 and 1/4 times. I'm considering purchasing one.

Thanks. The radio is a Pioneer AVIC-8200 NEX. It's worlds better than the OEM "Alpine" system. Here's a link to a post showing the components of my system. If you want more info, let me know.
