I wanted a Dodge Durango ever since I saw the 3rd gen came out. I just sold my 2004 Lincoln Navigator last week & picked up a brand new 2015 R/T. Only 600 miles on odometer right now & I will be using it as a family vehicle & tow truck. I made sure I had the class IV hitch & tow group when I picked up this car.
I do wheel to wheel racing & I have been towing with the Lincoln Navigator. The 5.7 Hemi from the Durango sure feels powerful. I can't wait to start towing next weekend, which would be my first time towing with the Durango.
Another thing is the fold flat trunk for the Durango. Since I stay at the track for the entire weekend. I was able to put my twin size tri-fold 4" thick memory foam mattress from Amazon back & sleep comfortably in the Durango.

This is the race car & trailer that I'll be towing. 4460 LB total & about 650 LB tongue weight.
