OEM trailer wiring???

I must have got lucky. I've been towing with my aftermarket kit for over 6 years now without a glitch.

Do you have HID headlights or led turn signals up front?

I'm thinking the combination of all these aftermarket parts was causing a glitch.

Sorry for the delay in responce, Bootz.......the factory hitch has a hole to the left of the receiver this pigtail mounts to. You just have to drill the mounting holes to mount it to the hitch.

I'm not concerned with mounting. I had issues with my driver side taillight going out when I had the aftermarket harness installed. Wasn't sure if the harness was bad or if the combination of the HID headlights and led turn signals up front was causing the issue.

Not sure why that happened, I do know the computer has to be re-flashed on order for the trailer light harness to work unless it was purchased with the towing package. Cost me $60 to have mine activated.

I have a 2011 Durango Crew 3.6L. I appear to have the factory tow package, it has the 4-pin and 7-pin connector at the back (with a wire coming out the back), however I can't seem to find anything upfront under the driver's side for wire harness connection. Any ideas?
