That certainly may be so, but the dual exhaust pointing right at the enclosed trailer can't help. It was bad enough that I spent a while looking for and considering side pipes. The 2010 ram had the 06's mopar dual exhaust but was a crew cab with a cap on the back. It made a huge difference just being further from the trailer with more "insulation" from the reflection, because that's what I think was the bigger issue. With the Durango, I'm concerned about once again having a loud dual exhaust pointing right at the camper with nothing to deaden the noise. I'm not looking for anyone to feel bad for me and not all wives like the same thing. I'm not making any exhaust decisions until I tow the camper a couple times. That's my choice, not hers. I figured I'd just share a funny story since Paul had a similar situation

I feel bad for you guys too, my wife ordered my flowmaster 10's for the durango today, then drove her straight piped 15 grand caravan r/t 360 miles round trip to come pick me up.
Well there you go... to each his (or her) own. Forget about my wife, you won't find me doing a performance exhaust of any sort on our mini van lol

I'm not offended, I just don't need people feeling sorry for me lol. This would be a boring site if we all thought the same way
I need somebody to feel sorry for me. I don't have a loud Durango anymore and I'm sad :(. Where's my pitty party?

Simple solution to your problem: Go get another Redline D, buy a crate Hellcat Hemi, find someone crazy enough to install it in the D and enjoy. Just ensure to start looking for an apartment before the inevitable divorce papers get served so you don't have to take up temporary residency in the bubble.

That would be a great solution except if I get divorced I wouldn't be able to afford to live anywhere else other than the bubble under a bridge on the bad side of the tracks

True, but you would be living out of the world's only known hellcat D

Oh, you're mistaken.. If I get divorced I couldn't afford the hellcat, an apartment, food or clothes. Alimony, child support for 4 kids and student loans would leave me precisely with enough money to buy a $5 foot long monthly.

Just look for the fat naked guy in a bubble under the bridge.

This thread is too funny! My wife has always enjoyed the outcome of my car addiction. When I bought her the 2016 R/T, she wasn't driving it but 2 weeks when she said "it needs something to make it look tougher, like black stripes or something". 2 weeks later, I had the rally stripes put on.

After installing the aFe CAI, she took it out to run errands, and when she got back she said, and I quote "It's much faster, and I can really feel it!" LOL ... I didn't have the heart to tell her it was really the increase in sound which made it feel "much faster" :)

I told her after Diablo Sport figures out how to get a tune on to it, we'll get that as well. She said why? And I replied "The goal is to make your Durango keep up with the GTO in a straight line" ... and she smiled and said "I'm good with that!"

I've mentioned the possibility of selling our 1984 K5 Blazer (which I've owned since before we got married) to fund other vehicle purchases, but she said our marriage contract states we can never sell it; so if I did that, I should watch for papers to be served ... LOL!

Yep, my wife knew what she was getting into when she married me, but I am definitely one lucky guy to have one who actually enjoys and supports my obsession
