I noticed this with my 2015 Durango. However I didn't think there is a problem since my wife's 2015 Chrysler 200S does the same exact thing.
Sometimes the pedal is stiff with just sitting overnight. I haven't thought about the temperatures being a factor.

I have noticed this because it happens more often during winter time, also none of my previous cars had this issue. Something isn't normal, but I can't prove it because it's random.
 
The Brake boosters vacuum is bleeding down. Then once started it build and assist

They will test your Brake bleeder seperate from vacuum system did you ever have recall done Klasango? I believe it was covering 14's as well...
Dont let it get to a point when there is no function if your concerned these are heavy rides and wont stop easily without assistance

Are you referring to this one? Mine was built on April 2014, so wasn't part of this.
