Here's a thread that I see on a lot of car forums that is pretty fun to look through.

So, what did you do today? It can be anything from a fresh wash to ordering new parts!

Bought 14 Jeep SRT OEM black exhaust tips also known as Shrek ears. I will be fabbing this onto the stock exhaust.

looks cool. i somewhat regret not getting the black tips with my corsa. Nothing a little elbow grease and a couple of bucks can't fix I suppose

Off hand can't remember I think it is something like 4.5 inch tip and 3inch inlet. I could be wrong though.

That looks nice! I see your BT hinge... I think I'm about to cancel my BT.... Ordered Aug 15 & they told me today, the materials were manfunctioning so they were using a new material, it should be ready in 2-3 weeks to ship... I just don't believe it!

Notice any stopping distance? Is that the reason everyone is changing to Brembos brakes?

Washed the Durango today for the first time. Look gorgeous.

I think the brakes is the thing I like least about this vehicle. Coming from performance brakes on a sports car to smaller rotors and extra weight, I just don't like. If I didn't need to change the rims I would be all over it.

Putting on new rear rotors today.
Picked up a oil filter at the dealer for my next oil change in the next 2-4 weeks.
I am at 202,620 miles on the original motor.
I average about 250-350miles a day.
Going to stick with the Pennzoil platinum full synthetic from now on.

Still having a slight lifter noise on first start up in the morning that last about 10-20 seconds but, I am thinking that's how long it takes the oil pressure to build up and reach the top of the motor.

Other then that motor sounds strong.

Put on some Jeep SRT 20x10 spider monkey wheels to test fit them on the durango. Going to run them for a few days. But looks so good. I will post some pics later

Put a new ignition lock cylinder assembly in the 2005 Durango. After over 300,000km, the old lock was so worn, you could remove the key in any position.

Bought an uncoded cylinder kit with a full set of tumblers and coded it to match the existing keys. Hopefully, now that the keys can't be removed unless it's in the "Lock" position, the overnight battery drainings that were occurring when the key was removed in the "Acc" position, will cease.

Put in heat shield on driver's side rear, inside of lower valence to complete the single to dual exhaust swap. Thanks again to Andy at eastcoastmoparts.com for getting me the right stuff first time around.
There's one for ya': "...having your parts guy get you the correct part; the first time...priceless."

Wataboy did you do what I said and call Heidi?
No way unless you ordered something weird with custom engraving. If you did order engraving it only gets done 1 or 2 pieces at a time.
Send me your order number and I'll do it myself
I'll at least get an answer

Send me order number and I'll get the answer.

Lol yall funny, I am trying to be patient but ummm its been since Jan 15.... I haven't canceled yet, but just wondering will this vendor issue get finished by the summer. I like quality so I'm being cool about it and I called three times since Jan 15 to check status.

It's cool though, maybe it'll be here before my rims. I ordered my rims yesterday.
