They'll hold it until the Feb incentives are out next week. If the lease rates are still horrible, I'll just let them sell it to someone else and wait to reorder until the lease terms are favorable (if I survive my wife's wrath). So how long can you string them along? I mean you ordered it, was it part of the deal that they could wait as long as you want until a favorable lease deal comes through? I'm the last guy in the world to ever come to a dealers defense but I'd just sell it to whoever showed up that wanted it if I was them.
Don't know your story and hate to turn this discussion to 'lease/buy' debate but why not just finance it, particularly since this is (hopefully) your 'dream car'. I haven't owned a "domestic" automobile since my first car when I was 16 (a '77 Camaro, LOL!) and let's just say I'm still leery of their historical "badness," especially Chrysler (sorry Dodge fans, just keeping it real). A lease will give me a 3-year commitment (with warranty) to get a good feel for the vehicle. If it ends up being as good as I expect, I'll buy it out at the end of the lease. If not, I turn the car back in and save some sales tax (and the grief of trying to sell). My expectations are I will "own" this vehicle for 10-12 years, like I have my '04 Pilot.Don't know your story and hate to turn this discussion to 'lease/buy' debate but why not just finance it, particularly since this is (hopefully) your 'dream car'. 12 years. And I hear you, brother. It's been utterly boring to drive and look at. That said, it's been 12 years with nothing more needed than tires, a battery, a timing belt, and two brake/rotor jobs. On the downside, my wife has managed to back it into other vehicles 3 times (the last time being only last week!Life's too short to drive a Pilot for 10 years.
Well, it's like my neighbor who owns an auto body shop says whenever I ask him how business is going: "Women are still driving, aren't they?"You know I'm just razzing you. P.S., the backup camera won't help, believe me. You'd think it would, but those wives of ours find very interesting ways to defeat the safety systems.
Which is why ill buy the lifetime warranty for $2300! Yeah, when/if I buy the vehicle at the end of the lease (which I'm expecting to do), I will definitely buy the extended warranty too.Which is why ill buy the lifetime warranty for $2300! It will more than pay for it self

I am getting anxious... new R/T is expected at the dealership anyday. Ordered 2015 Citadel Rims and Chrome OEM Mirrors caps. Still have to figure out how to replace the grille to Citadel Chrome. I believe the entire front bumper has to be removed to replace the Grille.Saw my first 2016 on the road today.
A grey Limited...all the rocker panels painted like a R/T...looked great!
It looks more like a Citadel now except it has pained door handles.
