Hi Everybody,
I'm new to the forum and looking to choose my first DD, and just hoping I could get a advice on which year to pick. Specifically, I love the look of the 2014+ R/T's and am considering one, but was wondering if I got a 2011-2013 if it's possibly to mod it so that the exterior looks relatively similar to a 2014+ R/T due to the cheaper price of the lower year models.
The mods I had in mind were 1.) Black out of the Grill and the lower grill/fogs 2.) Possibly get new LED headlights 3.) Adding new Rims and Tires similar to the below picture of Hollywoods R/T Tires (Well done Hollywood, that car looks fantastic)http://www.dodgedurango.net/forums/durango-wheels-tires-2011/20173-new-shoes-r-t.html
I realize that I couldn't get the rear taillight on the lower models to look just like the new ones, but that's not a big deal to me. Is there anything else I'm missing? Could I get my older R/T (or other model for that matter) to look like Hollywood's down below? Thanks for any help!
Also, if there's any other big things I should be aware of, or if the performance difference between the years is so different that you don't think that would be a good idea, please chime in
