UConnect 8.4AN Navigation Night Mode??

Hey all. I was wondering if there is a "night" mode for the navigation on the 8.4 system. I know that the screen dims when it's dark out (and your headlights are on) but it's still quite bright to leave the map up on screen when it's in use. I know that most other factory systems and almost all aftermarket screens switch to a black or dark blue map at night to help defeat the blinding of the driver lol. I've looked through all the menus and I have probably missed it buried somewhere.

It does switch to a dark mode at night. If yours doesn't it's probably just that the dimmer knob to the left of the steering wheel is set to keep day mode on but not turn on the inside lights. Just move it down a notch and night mode should work.

Ah-ha! I figured it was going to be something as simple as that. I'll have to take a look at it when I'm heading home from work this evening. I had no idea the dash switch would control that.
