These rated very highly with Consumer Reports as well. Though not as highly as my favorite SUV tire, the Michelin LTX-M/S 2.

I'm running the Pirellis currently. I love them. Great traction in every type of weather. Great price, too.

I'm curious to see how many miles the Pirelli's get on them. Every pair of Pirelli's I have had on a vehicle has had terrible mileage life--they drive great in the beginning when new and that's about it.

I had to replace two tires unexpectedly...just ordered two more Fortera HL's....I really want the Nitto 421s...but not until I have to all 4 tires.

Just came back from a trip up north, snow, ice etc .. the Pirellis did an awesome job. So happy with the purchase, I guess time will tell on tread wear life.

I forgot to update. I had the yokohama parada's installed. So far loving the traction, responsiveness and the no noise. Thanks for all the help everyone. Love this forum
