Hey all,

Anyone have any comments on this tire? my mechanic recommended it? Briefly read some reviews and it looks like im going to get around the same tread life at my current ones about 30K. Want something a little higher but i see there is a sacrifice when going up in tread warranty miles.

I had them on my Trailblazer SS, they handled very well. They're not anywhere near summer tires in wear but they're more of a "sport" tire than long life/comfort tire.

Maybe you guys can help me then. I looking for a tire that is quiet that is going to last me longer than 30k miles. With so many tires to choose from i have no idea where to start.

Can't answer on the 30K miles but you'll like how they handle. I don't recall any tire noise and they're cheap compared to a lot of tires in the same size range.

Look for tire of your choice with treadwear rating higher than 375

i have had 4 sets 305/40/22 265/50/20 and now 285/40/22 and they all where great, BEST tires i ever owned, wore like iron, quiet, dam good in rain and snow.. Also most sizes are priced great. hell you can find the 265/50/20 for $100 or less with $20 shipping. I'm faithfull to Yokahams and jsut bought 8 Yokahama Ice guards for the Durango and Jeep .

MJ, did you use them on the stock Durango 20" wheels? I put a ton of miles on my vehicle due to work--just wanted to get your thoughts if these Yokohamas had performance that was the same (or better) than the stock Goodyears.

I put these on the 2014 RT. Just passed 30,000 Kms. Wear looks about 1/3 of tread. Handling and steering response are first rate. They are quiet and I like the look. Have had a mild come and go vibration but nothing exceptional . I would buy them again.
Sorry about the 90 degree rotation on the pictures??

My Tire Guy talked me into the Hankook Ventus and I am extremely happy with them as well. The wet weather handling on them is preposterous! Dry is really great too, smooth with no noise and they get sticky quick! I have had them only 8,000 so far and the is nearly now wear so I think you can easily break 30k with them.

Thread Jack... What is everyone up north running for all seasons? I'm looking at pirelli scorpion and continental crosscontact.

Factory Goodyear Fortera HL is what I put on it a couple months ago, they're actually fairly decent for everything. Never gotten stuck or slid out of control

I'm running the factory Goodyears here in Anchorage as well... Have had zero issues when driving as dictated by conditions.

Just get the Parada Spex X I'm 50 years old and bought a lot of tires, they have all been the best tires I have ever bought. Have had 4 different sets on 3 Different Durango's.

265/50/20 summer tires on 2004 Durango
265/50/20 they were my winters on stock 20" x 8" wheels 2008 Durango
305/40/22 they were summers on stock SRT Ram 22x 10 2004/2008 Durango
285/40/22 summer on my 13 R/T 22X 9" SRT Reps

I never wore a set out, i sold the durangos with the tires in good shape or sold the wheel tire combo's they will go 40K no problem if properly rotated and suspension is good.

The Good years are terrible after 25K , flat spot and shimmy and are a bitch to balance.
