Hi All,

What a fantastic forum with mounds of info and great people. Feels great to be aboard. We're in the process of going through a pricing for a Redline R/T with a few options.

The options are:

Blacktop Package
Technology Package
Nappa LUX Seat Upgrade

The price for the vehicle before taxes is, $42,421. In my mind it says, BUY IT, but being year end, We're not sure if there are better. I find the redline color in the R/T trim very hard to locate. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Is this price competitive and good? Seems it to me.

Thanks

Is it AWD? I recommend getting one with the Tow package. Even if you dont plan on towing. It is handy to have that hitch for other storage accessories. Yeah you can add it later but its not as simple as just adding a hitch. That would be a great price if its AWD, Tech, Tow, Nappa and Blacktop. I got my 2014 RT AWD that has 2nd row capts & console, Nappa, Nav, Tech & Tow for 43k with 0% interest for 72mos.
Oh and DO NOT get your extended warranty at the dealership. Get the Max Lifetime Warranty thru - clay@zellermotors.com. That should be about $2030. Good luck!

I'd aim for 1% below invoice before rebates are applied as a starting point. Don't necessarily agree with getting the tow package from factory for a grand. If you are handy with cars, you can add it yourself for around $260 in parts, 1/2 hour labor for the dealer to activate the harness and whatever the local body shop charges to paint the cover. All in, it cost me around 375 for everything.

Good luck with your search!

Wow, I appreciate all the questions. So after dealing with the dealer remotely, they finally sent pictures of the interior and it's red leather. Not my thing so we have decided to pass on the vehicle. So the search goes on!! I can't wait to get one!

I will opt to have a hitch put on later. All I carry is a bike rack so I don't need all the fancy wiring. I thought the price was too goo to be true, unless the red leather appeals to you. You will hear from gain I'm sure.

Thanks

BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!!!!!!!

ITS REDLINE RED How could you not buy it, its the fastest, strongest, sexiest and just plain best color they make... As for the price, anything under MSRP for a REDLINE RED Durango is a bargain.

Queue Paul in 3, 2, 1...

Welcome to the board.
How did I miss this Thread... People need to start tagging me when somebody is considering a REDLINE RED Durango. I hate being late to the party.

I sense some sarcasm in this thread! Hahaha

Well, the search goes on for another redline or white with blacktop. The red leather is nice no doubt, just not for me.

I read a comment in another thread, maybe from paul. What are the uconnect features or upgrades you don't fet with the 2014?
