After having the black headlights and dual exhaust installed on my Durango Limited today, I finally have my 'blacktop package' conversion complete! I have always loved the look of the blacktop but being that I wanted the Sandstone Pearlcoat with Light Frost/Beige interior, it was never really a possibility. After buying my perfect D and gleaning as much info as possible from this site, I decided to create it myself.

Honestly, I think it came out even better than I had even hoped.. Let me what you guys think!

My challenger is hiding in one of the pictures!

Looks awesome congratulations

have you thought of doing black mirrors? I think that would look great with what you already have going

Nice job. Looks great man.

Saw your OP a week or two ago when you had the roof done. Headlights now definitely complete the package.

Can you list what you did, what parts you had to buy, and how much they cost? I am think about doing this as I want a blacktop/light frost beige combo myself.

Looks great. Odd though, sandstone is one of the few colors I don't mine some chrome on. Did you buy the actual blacktop parts, or have them painted? I'd leave the mirrors sandstone.

6. Stock R/T take off exhaust, purchased from DD.net member [$300]
7. Rear dual valence bumper replacement, Dodge [$235]

Hoping to absorb some of that cost back by reselling my brand new stock factory wheels/tires and also my two chrome bezel headlamps. Potentially the single exhaust if I can ever sell it. Wishful thinking has that all at about $1,700.

Adjusted cost: $3,450

Hope this helps..

Your thread reminds me of these two Italian guys from ny that didn't like the color options on the escalade pick up truck
So they bought one and painted electron blue or some sort.
Gm loved it so much two yrs later they made it a color you could get factory direct .

Watch out now sand stone blk top here were come.
